I'm wondering if anyone has used the inmate counselling program offered by John Howard Society, either pre- or post-release? I'm trying to get more information, but haven't heard back from JHS yet and I'm curious about the experience of others. I would imagine that it's fairly basic counselling, release plans, and referrals to resources/agencies, but that's just a guess. Anyone know any better or have experience with these programs?
