Does anyone know if there is a maximum amount of time an inmate is in reception? Does it always vary? My boyfriend is at DVI and I have yet to hear anything from him since begining of Dec.

View Full Version : What is the longest time spent in r/c DVI? babyluvsears 01-14-2007, 04:15 AM Does anyone know if there is a maximum amount of time an inmate is in reception? Does it always vary? My boyfriend is at DVI and I have yet to hear anything from him since begining of Dec. MissMyBaby07 01-14-2007, 04:24 AM my guy was in reception for like 4 months! ideally, it is supposed to be from 60 to 90 days. i guess it just depends on the prisons. cadustin 01-14-2007, 09:07 PM Mine was in reception for less than 2 months. It all depends on what level of security they are and when a bed opens up in that level of prison. NeoforTee 01-18-2007, 04:51 PM My fiance is at Donovan and he has been in the reception for .... oh say "EIGHT MONTHS", so it really does vary. edsbaby 01-19-2007, 02:19 AM My Man was in DVI almost NINE Months!!! ecm 01-19-2007, 02:47 PM I can't imagine my husband being in reception for so long! He's only been there for 11 days. Inn his letter, he said they told him he'd be there for a month. I guess we'll see. drenabugg 01-19-2007, 06:31 PM Babyluvsears, my fiance was there about 30days...but that was 3years ago...hopefully your boyfriend won't be at DVI too long... Also, why don't you send your boyfriend a stationary package...so that he can write you...click on this link I wrote about the stationary package...it will tell you what you can enclose: http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194481&highlight=DVI+STATIONARY I send one often...cost about $4.20...to send priorty mail...he usually gets this in 2 to 3 days...because there isn't much to check like letters or cards...well I hope you hear from him soon...let me know if you have questions... Aliwant24 01-20-2007, 11:33 PM Back in 2004, my man was at DVI for 5 months. And now... he just went there December 21, and he wrote me and told me he would be there for about 4 months before they move him to Corcoran. So, we will see. |
