View Full Version : Need Information on visitation SWEET74 01-14-2007, 12:12 AM I NEED TO KNOW WHEN VISITATION IS AT HOLMAN FACILITY. PLEASE. Crystal_Marie 01-14-2007, 01:24 AM All I know is that visitation for segregation is the 3rd Tuesday of the month. From 8-2 Sorry I couldnt be more helpfull..Michelle where are you girl?!?! Help this woman out. lol SWEET74 01-15-2007, 03:12 AM TY for the information. I'm hoping my friend writes me soon to let me know what's up. The reason he hasn't is because he was at (Williamson E Donaldson)facility. When he found out they were moving him, he tried to comit suicide.:( So I'm pretty sure they have him on a watch. He had been at the other prison (25) yrs. Yeah....WHY MOVE NOW?? Huh??? Guess he thought I wouldn't drive to see him. I was only driving 45 min. Now I will have to drive 4 hrs. But he is my friend and I will not turn my back on him. EVER. Crystal_Marie 01-15-2007, 02:45 PM Wait its the 4th Tuesday....sorry SnakeCharmer 01-15-2007, 04:46 PM if he is under any kind of "watch" i would just call down there and ASK them about his visits, when, and so forth... the number is 251-368-8173 they are NOT the nicest people, but they will answer your questions. They moved him from Donaldson... I'd give anything if they would move my loved one BACK to donaldson... they say "this is your year" so we will wait and see. By any chance is your friend Teddy? I'm guessen, just cuz there was a guy that just got transfered to holman from Donaldson, to seg across the hall from my loved one... figured i'd take a chance and go for a wild guess. Let me know if i can help ya in anyway. *Bama* elenwe 01-16-2007, 03:46 PM If he on DR visitation is Fridays 0730-1330 (or 1400 if you get the right guards and they let you lollygag for a bit) SWEET74 01-21-2007, 04:20 AM No, sorry his name is Alan Clark. SnakeCharmer 01-22-2007, 02:43 PM Glad you found out when you can visit... and congrats on it being SO soon! and i agree... things seem to be ALOT easier at Donaldson.... *bama* SWEET74 01-23-2007, 05:53 AM T.Y. for your concern. Should I be real alert when I visit for the first time? Hope I'm not too nervous. sweet Bookworm1 01-25-2007, 02:32 PM Crystal Marie: You scared me there for a minute girl! I was quite sure that visitation for inmates in segregation at Holman was on the last Tuesday of the month, but when I read your post stating it was on the THIRD Tuesday of the month I got a little scared! LOL That would have screwed up my plans! Sweet74: I hope that your first visit is everything that you hoped it would be, and then some!:) I will be keeping you and your loved one in my thoughts. My heart goes out to him. It must be VERY traumatic having to start all over at a strange and unfamiliar place where you don't know anybody and are unsure of what to expect, after being at the same prison for 25 years! That is an awfully long time. I don't understand WHY they would just up and move him after all that time? That doesn't seem fair! I wish him all the best. At least he has found a good friend in you, and he has someone that will stand by him through the good times and the bad. My sweetie is at Holman, and he would give just about ANYTHING to get a transfer. I know that prison is not a supossed to be a nice place, but from what he has told me Holman is the worst of the worst! He is hoping to get transfered to St Clair within the next year or two, because it offers more rehabilitative and therapeutic programs. One in particular that if the inmate graduates from, he can be granted a parole cut. Be sure to let us all know how the visit went! I am visiting for the first time in April(was SUPOSSED to be March, but the friend I am traveling with couldn't get the time off work):( . Awe well. Better late then never right? Anyway, I am REALLY nervous, and have no idea what to expect! I have never visited anyone in prison before. That's normal. You would be "weird" if you weren't nervous! I'm sure everything will be just fine! Have fun girl!:) Lisa SnakeCharmer 01-25-2007, 09:36 PM Sweet..... I Just got back from visiting my LOVED one who is at Holman... I wish upon you every bit of strength you can muster up.. you WILL need it.. i don't mean to sound so "Bad" but.. what i thought could not get any worse... HAS... Holman, is as bad as any hell on earth CAN be, and then some..... even on visiting day. *Bama* |
