Well guys, this is my official 1000th post. I can honestly say I never thought I would be around to hit the four digital mark around here! But what can you do, you can't control where fate takes you in life. I have no regrets, even though this whole experience has been and continues to be far from easy. However I continue to amaze myself with how strong I have been and continue to be every day. That is something I am very proud of. I work full time, I'm a full time single mom, and I attend college full time... not to mention taking care of my incarcerated husband! It just goes to show what you can accomplish when you set your mind to it. 1000 posts that were able to find themselves here, amidst my extremely busy life is a major accomplishment! LOL! But I am so thankful for this place. I have been able to share with you guys my amazing wedding, my heartaches with the parole system, and various moments of tears and happiness, too. That is so special to be able to do all of that with a bunch of people from all over the place who truly feel your love and pain. I am still trekking, the path ahead of me continues to wind up the mountain, but it sure does feel reassuring to know you can look back once in a while and there will be someone who cares in the backdrop smiling at you.

It took me 5 years to get to 1,000... and as much as I love y'all, I really don't want to see 2,000. LOL! But if I do, that will be OK too.
