I'm in the market for a new phone but would like some feedback before I make a decision.I have read reviews,talked to friends and of course all have differing opinions :)

Right now I am kicking around the possibility of the verizon LG chocolate,Samsung SCH-a930 and LG VX8300.I can upgrade online but think I better go to the store to see and feel them, to see what I like best.


What kind do you have and do you like it? Don't like it? and why?

I have the new Chocolate and I love it!! The only thing that took me some time to get use to is how sensitive the buttons are...you think you are clicking one thing and something else comes up...LOL...it took me a couple of days but after that I had it down to an art...

The one thing I really love about it is it's NOT a flip phone...I hate them...I also like how the buttons are covered and you don't have to lock your phone to not press them by accident when it's in your purse or something.

My son has the Samsung SCH-a930 and he loves it too...Very easy to use and if he can figure it out anyone can...LOL...we have never had any problems with either of them...

I have a Razr V3M from Alltel and absolutely love it, no problems at all. Had no problems programing it or anything.

I personally like flip phones so it all depends on what you need.

i have a lg fusic and i love it as well altough my first choice wasw a lg chocolate but sprint doesnt sell them

I have the lg fusic and after about 3 weeks the ringer doesn't work anymore...not a Sprint store in my town so I have to wait till I can make the 1 hr drive ! :(

I ended up with the LG VX8300, so far so good!

I have A T-Mobile Sidekick (love it) especially if you text messege. I also have a T-Mobile MDA (really love it) It has microsoft Word, powerpoint, excel, Acrobat reader, windows media player, i can write my hunny letters while on the go and connect the phone to my computer and transfer the letter to the computer and print it out. I also have a Boost Mobile I730 (not too good) It works great for Direct Connect (chirping) but the phone service is not great. Good Luck

I have Verizon and I love the service! I travel alot and wherever I go I seem to always have perfect reception!

Did you get a new phone yet?? I've had an LG phone since October.. well actually I'm on my third LG since October. I've not been happy with the phone although I LOVE the features.

I had a HE** of a time getting a broken phone replaced.. it was my fault for that one, but they sent me a replacement that DID NOT WORK. I sent it back and had to wait for almost a month to get another one because they didn't have any reconditioned phones in stock to send me another.. and they didn't have any more new ones either. THAT told me that they get a lot of broken phones and have to replace them.

My phone does not always disconnect when I close it. I get FAR more dropped calls than I did with my old Motorolla phone and the least little bump and I end up on vibrate instead of the ringer.

I'm switching in April and it won't be an LG phone for sure!

Oh oh! yep I got an LG!! But so far so good........

I just got a Sony Ericcson. Its AWESOME! Does everything but pay for itself! :D :D

I switched companies and got a Palm 650 for 10 bucks, but the thing was so big and bulky I took it back. I got a New Razr Gold and I love it. It's an upgrade from the silver, black and pink. It gets great reception, so I'm very pleased.

I have a Samsung E250 and I love it!

I have a red Samsung SCH-D600..It feels lovely to hold..Oh and it's a great phone too!

My cell provider ie Verizon I just upgraded from the Razr to the Motorola Q, love it, just one drawback, need to figure out how to add ringtones..LOL

I have a T-mobile Dash... i love it i uploaded my daughters favorite shows on it so when we are out and she gets bored i just put them on for her.

I just signed up with alltell so far so good here in michigan. I've been traveling a lot so I need a non roaming charge phone. Also have metro pcs for the detroit area only. It stops workin about 30miles outside of the D.

I have a Samsung sph-a920. I have it through Bell. I really love the features and the package I have through Bell. Unlimited text and picture messaging, web surfing, free sirius radio, call display. I've got a 2 gig data storage in there now, bluetooth of course, media player, and I have free local minutes, and incoming is free. I pay $35 a month for a 3 year plan. I think it's a heck of a deal, I'm really pleased with it. Before this I had a Nokia and I lost my entire address book. Not to mention I had it through Smell-us..whose service really sucked. It was a pay-as-you go. I paid a heck of a lot more a month and it didn't have half the features of this one.

I have the Razr V3i GOLD Dolce & Gabbana with matching blue tooth. I love this phone. I love the Razr V3i. I love it.even more that it is a D&G. Confessions of a label girl! lol

V3 Razr, regretting it ever since.

I have LG Chocolate but don't really like it because-

*I can't talk on it without accidently pressing buttons when it touches my face
*screen is exposed so gets all scratched up
*buttons are too small, makes texting harder

The chocolate does have a notepad that I would miss if I went back to my Razr. If the razr had a notepad, it would be the perfect phone for my needs.

*unlimited text messaging
*service almost anywhere

Verizon cons
*no free incoming calls like my last carrier (US Cellular)
*nights and weekends don't start til 9pm (US Cellular was 7pm)

Guess I can't have everything :rolleyes:
