I have a question, my ex-fiance is in the Maricopa County Durango Jail facility and will be there, at least for another month while he waits for sentencing on a probation violation. I saw that for AZDOC you have to be on their "list" but for MCSO is it the same way? Does MCSO require you to be on an approved visitation list? He certainly doesn't know I want to visit....we haven't talked for a few weeks.

Thanks

Hi-
I can't speak for Durango, but at Madison you just go on down and sign up when you want to visit. You need to be there REALLY early, usually at least an hour before the visits actually start, or you'll never get in, but I don't think you have to be on any type of approved list. If you need the General Information Line telephone number, PM me and let me know. I'll be glad to pass it along.

Good Luck!!

My fiance has been in Durango for 3 months now. I go visit him 3 times a week. You dont need to be approved to go visit there. They do run your name and stuff, so don't have a warrant or anything, cuz they will get you. Just know that Durango Jail's are very crowded at visits.....it sucks. Im going tomorrow to see my fiance.....can't wait!!!!
