One year ago today, I was released from prison in Ohio. Everything is going great!! I am working full time, have a very loving wife and a nice place to hang my hat. All of you here had a great deal to do with it--- the support and friendship y'all gave my wife was and still is priceless. We plan to stay on PTO and help anyone in any way if we can. I/we owe all of you a great deal. Our lives are moving forward and we have accomlished some of our goals and plan on attaining some of the bigger ones now. Yes..thanks for sharing that. It is good to see that the good that others did for you and your family only encouraged you to want to return the favor and help somebody else.

This is the way it should be in this thing called "life." Life can kick us down pretty hard at times and it is food for the soul to see that there truly are others to help lighten the load when it gets too heavy. There are angels everywhere......you can even find them working in a prison situation. Cool, eh?

Wonderful news! Success stories are so inspiring. I'd always heard the first year of freedom is the toughest, much like the first year down, getting acclimated to society again was daunting for me at first. Like you though, I'm about to celebrate my first year of freedom in just a couple weeks or so.
