Hi i know someone who is a US Citizen, she was born in the the US but has lived her entire life in Mexico and is a resident over there aswell. She was sentenced to 13 yrs in Bryan Federal Prison Camp. Is it possible for her to give her citizenship up and be transfered to a prison in Mexico? if anyone can provide any info on this. if so, where can i go to get more info. thanks!

From what I hear Mexican prisons are horrible. If it was me I'd take my chances in a US prison anyday. Just my opinion.

atxpuente: what you are asking is not possible. Some countries do have prisoner transfer programs, but her US citizenship takes precedence and prevents eligibility.
