Hi there...hubby is on F yard at Chuckies and I have not heard from him in a few days. He tried to call yesterday morning, but call did not go thru and has not called back...just wondering if anyone had any info? I am a bit nervous cuz he is home in 10 days!!!:eek: I just don't want any issues this close to home, yanno?

I visited ISP yesterday and I didn't see any movement on any of the yards at Chuckies - maybe they are just locked down due to staff shortages or something. I don't know if that helps your worries, just thought I would share.

welcome to PTO...try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). I heard there was a huge riot at Chino this weekend so that may be why no one is calling. Sometimes, if they think it is racially motivated (as in Chino), they lock all the prisons down...unfair, but true

Thanks... I can definietly say that I'm not a big fan of this "prison thing". My fiance has been down 2 monhts, he's been in before, but never since being with me and I'm getting my first taste this time. It is just so aggravating not knowing anything and not knowing where to go to get any information! :angry:

my fiance was supposed to call too (hes at chuckies), and ive been panicked all day! luckily his dad went to visit today and he told me that the phones have been shut off. so they cant call :( im waiting to see if he calls at 10, but i have a feeling theyll be off tonight too, hopefully they will turn them back on tomorrow. from what ive heard, sometimes they turn the phones off during holidays, and especially after the incident at chino, just to keep the guys from getting all rowdy. but i think that sucks! but as far as i know, they arent locked down and have no problems....

Got a call from my guy today on D yard. :) He said the phones were shut down early Saturday morning and just turned back on today. They weren't on lockdown, there were just no phones...

my hubby called too and said the same thing :)

Can They Call Cell Phones???...i Dont Hav A Home Line Only To Computer..........i Know In County I Could Buy Prepaid Time...i Hope He Is Able To Just Dail To Cell>....

He won't be able to call your cell...You have to have a home phone line.

I use Outside Connections and have to pay a fee but he is able to call my cell phone anytime. The charges for 15 min are $7.42. It gets pricey because there is a $24 monthly maintence fee, but worth it if there is no other way to get me.

from my friend on the D yard. He said he had to go they were getting slamed down, yard recall. What ever that means. He is suppose to call in a few days, it is his birthday. I will check this thread and up date if you are still not getting calls.
