My resolution is to be more active.

Bringing in the new years was amazing, someone near us let off an amazing fireworks show, we sat outside for most of the night watching the display - with our dog trying to hide under our chair!!

Seen Hubby today and the visit centre was not busy, it has been so long since we have had a visit with hardly anyone there.

Our 1st anniversary is coming up and I am busy trying to come up with ideas on what to do.. So far I have found 150 different languages to say I love you, everyday I will send in a few and he will not know what I am writting until our anniversary. A few family members are giving me their favourite recipes so I can send him in our family favourites. Thats all I have right now though.

Happy New Year to everyone :)
I had a great start to the new year and am looking forward to all the good things that are going to happen this year.
I don't really have a resolution yet so I'll just wing it and enjoy each day.
Em your anniversary idea is lovely I 'm sure it will be wonderful suprise when he puts it all together and good luck Nessy with giving up smoking maybe this year will be the charm.
Best wishes to you all

Spent NYE with friends and we sat outside for a while watching the lightening over the paddocks then inside to watch the appalling offerings on commercial television in the lead up to midnight. Watched the fireworks and then went to bed.

Nevertheless it was good company and an opportunity for me to forget the stuff I have to deal with in the next couple of months. Until that is over with I can't think much about the rest of the year but once it is all decided (one way or the other) I will be able to look forward.

Hi Everyone- it's been a while since i posted anything here, I've been around, but just browsing. How are you all? Just jumped on to share... I GOT A NEW JOB!! So I'm pretty excited about that- And i start 2 days after my honey gets out (all going well with his parole...). I was worried when i applied that I wouldn't be able to get that weekend off if i got it, but it doesn't matter because I'll be starting work the same day my honey will be starting his new job! A fresh new life for both of us! I'm so excited, can you tell? It's my dream job- the one I've been studying for for the last 5 years, so I'm thrilled!

Good to hear Amanda, all is going so well for you all.

Thanks all for the well wishing, holiday was so great. Spent heaps of time with my niece and nephew. Hubby has missed me heaps. come home to heaps of cards letters and he keeps calling today.
Seen wild crocs and water buffalos on the side of the road, the humidity up there is hard to get use to - sweat all the time! My son now wants to move there he loved it so much.

Hope everyone is going well.

Hello to All Our Friends Down Under,

I got a snazzy new calendar for 2007 (it's very multi-cultural), and one of the dates it features is January 26th -- Australia Day! Since I'd never heard of this, I looked it up and it seems to have something to do with the arrival of a ship. Well, that sounds like a good enough reason to celebrate and have a party -- so I thought I'd stop by your Roo Baa Lounge and wish everyone a Happy Australia Day!

If anyone would like to enlighten me a little more about this holiday, I'd be interested in learning how you celebrate, whether it's like our Fourth of July, for example. Is it typically a day of picnics and parades? I got the impression that recently there has been some controversy about this holiday. Here in the US, we've had some Native American protests at some of our Columbus Day Parades, so I wondered if there were something like that going on with your Australia Day.

Well, anyway, if you celebrate this holiday, have fun and tip one back for me, Mate! Take care, SunnyChick

Today i got to visit for 3 hours!!!!!! :D

Visits are only for an hour sometimes you get an extra 15 mins here and there but an extra 2 hours it was sooo good. :D
May seem to be a pretty little thing but I just had to share as I was stoked its been a long time since we sat down and talked for 3 hours.

Hope everone else has a great weekend! :)
