Ok my guy is in DVI. I got a letter from him this past sat. saying he saw his counselor on the 19th and that he will transfer somewhare else and thats the last I have heard I havent gotten a letter since and the only reason I am Freaking out is cuz I was getting letters from him daily and now nothing when he first got to DVI he wrote me the same day and I got the letter in two days. Ok so my question is dose anyone know how soon they get to get transferd after they see a counselor????

You should call the DVI records dept...give them his first and last name along with his CDC#...they can let you know if he is still at DVI...

I just went through this... My Baby was at DVI as well. He sent me a letter saying they were working on his file Dec, 7, 06. Then the following week he saw his councelor, then he was to be shipped out to Susanville CCC Dec. 26, 06. I'm going to call DVI in the morning to see if he is gone. I too am freaking out now because I have not heard anything either. At least you recieved letters at first I have not heard anything! Does anyone happen to have DVI records dep. number?

If you call the mainline number (209) 835-4141...it will give you the option for reception records and/or mainline records...you need to know his CDC# and his full name ...and then they will let you know his housing and his counselors name...make sure you get them extention just in case you get disconnected for some reason...

I got a letter from a friend of mine saying not to send mail there anymore because he was being moved to Chuckawalla. Well, I waited about 4 or 5 days and called CVSP to get his housing information. They said he was not there, he was in RJD. I phoned RJD mail they said he was in CVSP. I told the person on the phone I just spoke to CVSP they said he was in RJD. She put me on hold and came back to tell me he was still at RJD and being moved that day. Well, it was the weekend so I had to wait till Monday. I called the CVSP and finally got a housing address to send mail.
For some reason, they had him roll up and get ready to transpack to CVSP, they held him at RJD for 4 or 5 more days before even moving him. So, don't freek out, keep calling the pison he was at, they can tell you where he went.
