I have a question that I would like to ask those of you who have been released.

Have any of you been released on a FI2? I understand that if that is the release stat they give you then you cant come home until the day of or after the exact date given.

The date they gave a friend of mine comes under a weekend so naturally he could be released the following business day. My question is once the call is made to the place where the paroled person is going to live, how long after that call do you actually get to see him at home?

Some say two weeks mostly, however his actual release date is still 9 weeks out.

If you would not mind sharing any information you may have on this subject I would sure appreciate it.

Is he in the Texas system? I noticed that you are in Huntsville, if he is in Texas, I will move your thread to that forum tonight after work, for you may find someone with the information sooner. Meanwhile, you may want to check that forum as well.
