View Full Version : Letter from Kris
Tigger 06-27-2002, 04:29 PM Well I got my first letter from Kris yesterday. He said that he is doing okay but that they are lock down anywhere from 18-20 hours a day. That really has me concerned. He also said that Law Library there was joke and very outdated. He sounded so defeated. He never use to be that way. I know jail can do that to a person, but he has always been a very strong person. He is in Protective custody due to his crime. He onl,y has 6 months. He choose to return to jail and end his probation early due to ever so restrictive conditions put on him by the judge(go to Unspeakable Love and read for more info) or you can email me.
He did tell me that he was happy to hear that I have been coming here and venting and getting support. Kris wanted me to tell all of you that you guys and girls are very special people, especially since he feels like society is so against him. Thanks for the support. Robbie:wave:
soraya 06-28-2002, 01:06 AM it's nice that you got your first letter. Tell Kris 'hi' and tell him to hang in there, not everybody is against him, although it might seem that way. 6 months is not that long. I hope he'll be visiting here, when he's out
aprilcat 06-28-2002, 06:30 AM tigger: i'm sure kris is having a tough time adjusting to prison ~ everyone goes through that and soraya has the steps of incarceration and what these guys go through posted on her website ;) he really needs your support right now, so hang in there!!! pto is a wonderful place ~ i'm so glad you found us!

Tigger 06-28-2002, 01:58 PM Thank you all for replies. I talked to Kris last night and he has a release date, it is October 20,2002. I told him about all the wonderful people here and he says definitely when he gets home he is going to start coming here. Once again thanks
danielle 06-28-2002, 03:50 PM October will be here before you know it! I'm glad you got that first letter and know that the time will pass. For every moment that passes, that's one moment closer to your reunion. Good Luck!
Tigger 06-29-2002, 08:13 PM Thank you all once again. I feel sorta guilty for feeling so thankful that he is coming home so soon, especially when I see all of my friends here having to wait for so long for their loved ones to come home. Know this that each and everyone of you are very special to me and that I pray everynight for you and your families.

KConnor56 07-10-2002, 07:09 PM Tigger,
Don't ever feel guilty about having a release date for a loved one. I did alot of my time on 3 & 4 yards with guys who don't have a date & who will die in prison. I at the begining felt guilty that I had a date & they would never have one. But THEY tought me the value of having a date & to respect that date & to not piss off your date because it was something many of them would never have. We even protected guys who got short (30 days to the house) we would take care of any problems they had so they wouldn't have to piss off their date over something stupid. I was protected when I got short. A release date is something to be glad for. Yes others have more time, but most here will have their date come up. Just my two cents.---Ken
sherri13 07-12-2002, 07:46 AM TIGGER-WE ARE NOTHIN BUT HAPPY FOR YOU AND KRIS-- OKAY, MAYBE A LIITLE JEALOUS, BUT SINCERELY HAPPY FOR YOU!!--
Tigger 07-12-2002, 06:10 PM I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! This is probably the 50th time or so that one of these replies or someones post has brought tears to my eyes.
I got another letter from Kris and he said for me to send you all his love and prayers. He thinks it is really great that I am learning so many different things. I have to say my eyes have been toothpicked open to what really happens to inmates. I never realized just how poor they are treated. Once again thank you and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
sherri13 07-12-2002, 11:39 PM AND GOD BLESSU TOO TIGGER, AND KRIS
