I just got back from visiting my husband at the USDB and was pleased to see that he is doing fine. Believe it or not the guards were not bad to us at all. They did make me walk through a metal detector and would not let me take anything in but a baggie of coins but once I was in there to see him they pretty much left us alone to have a nice visit. We got to hold hands the entire time but only got to kiss upon entering and leaving. Maybe we lucked out.

It's a small staff population. Once some inmates are known to be more trust worthy some slack is given.
