ANY BODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT AVENAL PRISON, VISITING WHAT TO SEND IS IT CONTACT VIST HELP MY MAN JUST GOT TRANSFERED, ALSO ABOUT THESE COLLECT CALLS HE CANT CALL ME HELP :confused:

My boyfriend was just transferred to Avenal at the end of August. I've been up twice since and the visits are contact visits. As far as collect calls are concerned, him not being able to get through may be due to your carrier. I had to open a separate account with MCI (& give them a deposit) to be able to receive the calls.

That link should have what your wanting and looking for. They have pretty good visiting hrs. and u dont hear much bad about that prison, but who really knows. Why cant he call you? Do u have a block on your phone? If so u can call Prison calls online and they service with different 800 numbers for them to call ya and its cheaper. Or since he just got transferred it might take a while for them to let him use the phone, etc. Write him and maybe ask him if someone will let him call u on thier card once. worht a try. good luck. and make sure u have a visiting form on record from some prison or put a new one in as soon as possible. ktc
