I'm asking because when I call, I cant get anyone on the phone. Maybe someone here knows? its called California Institution for Men in Chino...and I was wondering because my fiancee heard that Chino East is now taking lifers...I told him that wasnt so...but that was a long time ago. I told him I'd look into it. If anyone has any information or links, I'd greatly appreciate it!..

Well they might take them for a couple years but last time i talked to them in june, they said they dont and that people serving long sentences arnt thier long. i hope they would so my man can be close to me and could possible be put there. thats be cool, yeah but last time i heard it was for level 1 and reception only, which i ddint knwo they had, but i guess they do, and those are prolly the only lifers that go there. ok ttyl, ktc

if chino east a level 2 prison? the lowest level for lifers is level 2.

Ya--I dunno. My instinct would be to say no, because it's a lower level facility. Have you tried calling the prison?

Well, thats just it, I dont know...I can find out about almost any prison, except CIM (Chino), and I'm not sure why! Well it would be nice if Chino were excepting Lifers...My fiancee is at a level 3 but will be at a level 2 in Feb 04. I dont know why they just dont let him stay in Lancaster...its really ridiculous!
