Jay has been at Terre Haute since August, 2005. I have been to visit several times since he surrendered.

Visiting hours are from 8am-3pm. Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. The Co's are in the visting room are nice. I've never had any real problems when visiting. Other than the time that I was told I could not wear a pair of jeans which had a hole in the knee. I'm 26, and live in Chicago. I purchased the jeans ripped, it's in style. I live 250 miles away. I had to purchase an ill fitting pair of jeans at Kmart. So my advice is to not not wear anything with holes.;)

When the weather is warm there is a fenced in area outside which has picnic tables. Inside, there are 2 rooms. It reminds me of the waiting area at an airport.
