Hey everyone,Im Niki... I just joined this PT last week and I have more than enough experience with the Arizona Dept of Corrections, when I was 16 yrs old I had the perfect bf he and I were together for awhile than we turned 18 and he got arrested and he is now serving 12 yrs, hes been there for 4 years it hurts but im still there for him but he and i chose to just be friends and so thats what it is, so with him I had been from Phx to Tucson, to Winslow, Florence, Texas, hes now at Florence Rynning unit i just seen him today hes doing good but it just breaks my heart that i can't take him home with me....But since he and I have gone our separate ways I have been with my new man for almost a year now and well guess what, hes out in Douglas Papago unit, for 8mths he spent 4 mths in Durango and well now he has 4 mths left, he comes home April 15th, I cant wait so thats just a little bit about me....so i look fwd to talking to everyone on here!!

do you have any sujjestions as to how to answer questions when you are being classified in order to go to a better yard. I am going to be convicted of vehicular criminally negligent homocide and will be facing 4-6 years once convicted. Is there smoking in Az state prisoln? whats the best facility?

Classification isnt actually an interview where you will answer questions. Its a worksheet that gives a point value to different categories regarding your age, crime, history, etc, and then it comes up with a total point score, which determines where you are placed. Smoking is allowed, but not in the buildings. Hope this answers your questions. Welcome to PTO. :)
