I'm being sent to FMC Rochester next week due to bein handicapped, BUT, I was (fortunately) court ordered to RDAP. Now, according to the lists of RDAP facilities, FMC Rochester isn't one of them, but i called the prison, and they said they do in fact have that program, BUT, they "send those guys to Sandstone". SO....whats Sandstone like? It appears to be a low, but beyond that I don't know anything but what the bop sites says.

Anyone got any more detailed info? Anyone been there?

Even with your "court order to Rdap" you have to apply and be accepted to the program. assuming you are accepted, you will have to get an acceptance/transfer to a facility that has rdap. I know that CJJACK went through this.

Understood. So if i'm accepted, will I likely be sent to Sandstone? What if they can't meet my accessibility needs?

I got 27 months. I read somewhere on here that is the min. amount of time you must have? to be accepted into the program or something? Of course there would be other criteria but i'm just trying to figure out if I'm gonna get this RDAP program, and if so, where will I go...and since FMC Rochester sends 'those guys' to Sandstone...my original question is whats it like there?
