When he was sentenced the recommended he go to FCI in West Virgina (Morgantown) we just found out he is going to Elkton in Ohio. Is it possible to get transferred to another facility once he is there? I cna't find any info on this place but read good things about Morgantown.

It is possibly for one to get transferred but not usually right away.


Doing a search on 'elkton' just in the federal area....many threads come up. You will have to weed through them but should find some sort of helpful information.

My bro was suppose to go to Ky but was sent to Elkton.
He hasn't said any thing about being transferred. I don't think Elkton is so bad. It is a med to low security, So thank God for that. From what I have read here, there is not much said about it. But after reading about some other prison This is like the rest. Do what the rules say, mind your on business.
