Hi everyone I'm new to this, but I have a brother in unit 29 and from his letters it didn't sound all that bad until I read some of these postings.Little scary. I was also wondering, he went for parole on tuesday November 21 and the parole board phone number I called is telling me that I can't get any information until tuesday or wednesday of next week can anyone tell anything, if there is anything on some how calling someone else or do I just have to wait? Thanks

Hi Jamie, welcome to PTO and the MS forum. As Jonathan has said several times, how the unit is depends on the inmate's attitude. They a e all worse than our loved ones will ever tell us, but he'll be fine if he stays away from gangs et al. My hon was in 29 for 3 months.

With this being a holiday weekend, I am sure you will not reach anyone about any information until Tuesday at the earliest.
