My husband was a minimum 9 and in h-block at washington (an annex at a medium) his classification went down to minimum 8 and his counselor called him in to say that he will have to be transferred because his classification is too low. will he be transferred to a minimum or a camp? whats the difference? he is in ASAT and another program. his supplemental is in May, he would have 2 programs by then (altho he may still not get it we are hoping) if he stayed where he was and finished them. my question is: when they move him, will the facility have ASAT? will he be put in right away or have to wait? what about other programs? he has been in them for a few months, will they let him finish the programs where he is? howlong does it generally take to be transferred. he says his friend had the same thing happen a month ago, but is still there. i hope he doesnt lose his programs! does he have to start over??
thanks!!

From what I know, once they move you, you have to start over with the programs again, its a whole new place and there is nothing they can do about it unless he completed it already and received his certificate. It sux but my baby just went through the same thing. He was moved and now he couldnt continue with his GED and he has to do it all over again..

Hope this helps... I know all places are diffeent, but maybe some more opinions would help you out as well!

God bless
