I need yall opinion on something . I have been going out with my Ex- Boyfriend for about a year. We stopped talking in december of last year. He gotten locked up of July of this year. When i found out i broke my neck trying to get all of his information and sent him 600 dollars in commasiry for him just to be a little comfortable in jail. Since September i go and visit him in Rikers every Friday , not missing one week.. We dont argue when i do see him.. and he gets upset when it's time for the vist to be over. This week i went to see him and he rejected:eek: my vist.
I was soooooooo MAD!:angry: I don't understand why he did that..
My question is do you think i should wait and see if i get a letter from him , go see him this friday and see if he'll reject my visit again or just leave his ass in there to rot:mad: ... ???

He wasnt acting strange when i went. He was really laid back and when the visit was over he didnt want me to go. so i dont know... and i wrote :confused: him friday 2 see what was the problem .. so im praying he tellz me...

sometimes it is so hard for them to see us leave, they would rather we did not come. But rejecting a visit after all that trouble is harsh. Wait for a letter.

I wouldn't go back either, did you actually get to GMDC and he denied it or did they tell you that at the reception center? I have seen CO's say that your loved one denied the visit when in actuality they didn't. Did he get into any trouble that you know of?

Well I agree with the overall sentiment of the posts on the thread. Whether he intentionally rejected your visit or whether the C.O. misinformed you, I agree it is best to wait to hear from him, whether it be a letter or a phone call, with an explanation of why your visit was rejected. My man was in 3 different dorms in riker's island over 3 months before they sent him upstate to Hudson so I definitely know the hassle of going over to Riker's, the tedious searches, and the dogs sniffing your crotch for any trace of contraband >:-( . You definitely don't wanna go through the hassle again just to be rejected otra vez. Wait till he tells you what's really good.
