How an over power trip female co can start a riot. My story begins on Wed 15th of November,2006. It was around 1:00 pm in the state of Arizona, Florence North Unit Yard 2. The Sargent came around to all the co's and asked if thay could feel some tension on the yard. We all said that we could feel some. The sargent stated to keep a watch on the yard and let him know if anything changes. Well if you know what you are doing, you don't do anything but sit back and relax and watch. If anything is going to happen its going to happen not matter what you do. This power trip co started to play games with the inmates running back and forth from dorm to dorm. We asked her why are you bouncing from dorm to dorm. She stated that she was keeping tabs on the dorms. We all told her to sit back just watch and don't do anything." Oh well" miss super cop wanted to make a name for herself as she thought, and just as we were getting ready to go home, she kicked started a riot that caused us all to have to stay. He all said,"well",I guess Im not going home anytime soon. To this day we could kill this idoit, but I know she will be talked to by everyone for what she did to us and the other inmates that had nothing to do with it. If you have been in a roit, you know alot of people can get hurt. This makes my 2nd riot and its no fun at all. So you can see what a power trip co can do on a yard. She thinks she worked hard, she really worked hard.

Foor someone like me this is a very distressing story. I hope something has/can be done to avoid this in the future.

Hope nobody got hurt.

Don't you have debriefings when things like that happen? Or some type of staff meetings to discuss management?
