Hello everyone, I called Lancaster to get a visiting appointment (for son's friend) and person told me he was no longer there. She didn't say, or wouldn't, when or where he was transferred to. She referred me to the Inmate locator info line and they were helpful but for some reason they still show him in Lancaster. Anyone have experience with transfer process? When will we know where he is?

In his last letter he said he might be sent to Donovan but that worries me too because of the recent riot.

Any help would ease my worries, thanks a lot!

I know they shipped some inmates to Donovan a couple days ago. But if he was just there for reception, he could be anywhere. If he has been in a while, he may be at Donovan. I would call there and see if they have him. It can take up to 10 days for the locator to get updated information.

As for the riots, if he was transfered to Donovan, it won't be on the same yard as the riots.

Good, at least you know where he is at. Let me know if you need any details on Centinela. My husband was there from 1996 to 1998. There was a different warden at the time, but I am sure not too much has changed. I can give you directions too.
