My baby called again and sometimes I don't hear what he's saying because I drown in his voice. It's so much better to be able to talk to him finally. It's been over a year for us since we got to talk. Now he calls every week. That's all they will allow him right now, but, I am so happy with that. It makes my whole week.

It feels great when he calls me..:heart: .I don't have collect calls..but every now and then he gets a chance to call thru a homie.. :cool:. .you know what I mean??..and it's alway such a surprise.:yay: ..hearing his voice is all I need sometimes.:fb: :heart: :drool: ..

:) Yeah, I get calls from him at his mom's house. I'm not approved to visit yet because I just got off probation last summer. I have sent in the visit form about a month ago, and we're praying!!!!:thumbsup:

Those weekly calls are what i live for.... we write to each other regularly and his letters are wonderful but that phone call every week is just heavenly....It makes all the bad stuff seem to fade away if only for a moment.

Yeah I live for those phone calls and doesn't it piss you off when you run to the phone and it's not him I hate that

Oh yea thats what I live for. Phone calls and Letters. I feel bad cuz sometimes I'll be waiting for him to call and when he does I break out in tears cuz I had a bad day or whatever but he always makes everything better. Amazing what just hearing his voice can do.

This thread really hit me since my man called me last night just when i needed him the most. We talked for the 15 minutes of the call and when i heard the recording you have 120 secs... i started crying... so my man knew to call me back and he did and talked to me for another 15 minutes....those calls are so important to us and our relationship. I love the fact that we do have the phone calls...they are important...

15 minutes is not enough!!! LOL, but I am grateful that I have at least that. By the way, I'm glad that they found your paperwork and you are in process... Hope it comes through this week, then you will be able to see your honey this weekend. At least you are able to have phone priviledges. I had already visited my man about five times and I just got approved for phone use...

And you don't realize how much those calls mean until you're not getting them. I'm in the process of moving & have been without a phone for several weeks. Won't have the new one in place for close to 2 months then have to be reapproved, what a pain!! I miss hearing his voice so much. Letters are also all jammed up because of the forwarding process. Haven't gotten one since before Thanksgiving so I'm bumming. I do get to see him twice during this time frame, so I'm not complaining too much. It could be a whole lot worse.

he he im giggling to myself..... its so cute i can tell when he is calling from the caller id on mobile phone... then the recording takes a while to kick in.. i press 1 and there he is i usually scream and laugh and so does he and the 1st thing he always says is 'what ys doing'......ahhhhhh (currently have tears in my eyes as it has been a month since we spoke as he has moved) we used to speak 3/4 times a week he used all calls to me.....

i miss him desperately
