Hi,
My guy is in the medical unit in Pine Bluff. I'm in NM. I don't know much about Arkansas, or the prisons there. I hope to go visit him in the next few months and would just like to hang out and find out more. What kind of a city is Pine Bluff?

Thanks! I've never been to Arkansas. I'm excited about going there. It should be early spring or summer. Not sure. It's 992 miles from here!

Good luck on your trip here.And welcome to Pto.I really can not tell you much about the Pine Bluff area,I am from the NW Corner of the state and Pine Bluff is in middle of the state area.But hang in there someone will come along who can tell you what you want to know.Kitty

Pine Bluff is a drug town, kim48, cause I was going to go move down there to be closer to Grady, AR where my fiance is at. If you stay out of downtown, its not bad.

I wouldn't want to hang out around Pine Bluff. Its probably safer in the facility.

I will probably stay with his mom while I'm there. Yes, I was apprehensive about staying alone there. It'll be better to be with her because she lives in a nearby town.
