The wedding was quick and wonderful. It was in a conference room by the visitation room. We were also allowed to take pictures throughout the ceremony. We didn't get any alone time but the guards kept encouraging us to hug as a newly married couple. We also got an hour visit after the ceremony. A few of the woman were congradulating me after the visit.

I was a bit disappointed in the outfit I wore after shopping for days for an outfit. I bought two sweaters thinking it would be a cold day but it turned out to be in the 80's so I didn't wear them. Danny called the night before and wanted me to wear the denims with the white blouse so I was going to wear that but when I put the white blouse in the morning, you could see my entire bra through the blouse so I had to wear an a last minute alternative.

I want to thank everyone who supported me for the past few months... I love all you guys and wish you all could have all been there. I have a few more pics posted on myspace.com profile.

Thanks for everyones responses. The process didn't take to long. I first contacted the chaplin who than us both to write a letter of desire to the warden for approval. Once we were both approved, Danny had to fill out the marriage forms and get them notarized by the Chaplin. I had a very helpful Chaplin who allowed me to do everything from my own county since Danny is two hours from me. I also didn't have to retrieve any of his documents such as birth certificate or social security since the chaplin took care of that for me too. However, on the day of the ceremony the minister told me that it was rare that the paperwork could be filled out from another county but you may try asking your chaplin. Than we had to wait another month for the actual ceremony date so it took us about two months but it was well worth to wait.

Congrats, they did not allow you and your husband to wear what you wanted because me and my husband got married on 8-28-06, and I was allowed to bring him a suit, shirt, shoes, sock, belt and tie and I wore a dressy pants suit because I waited the last minute to get a outfit and everything I liked I thought that they would not allow me to wear, me, him, my mother, his mother and our daughter we all wore black and tan.
