:fb: This is our story. Our computer was stolen out of our house and we called the police and filed a report. Eight months later my hubby gets stopped for a speeding in another town, was taken to jail on warrant for felon in possession of a firearm. Well, weeks later we find out that the detective that we filed the theft report with decided to run a check on my sweetie and noticed that he is an ex-felon and has pawned some of our things. One of them being a shotgun I bought him for x-mas 2 yrs ago because he didn't want it around the house. So started our journey with the federal system because we were the "victims" of theft. My sweetie is to be sentenced on Sept 4. His Psi isn't very good due to his previous convictions from when he was 18 yrs old...he's 33 now! He has not been in trouble since he got out of prison but his old record is being held against him. He's been in a half-way house since May 19th. Sorry this is so long but....I have to tell someone. I can't talk to anyone else. My heart is broken :(
