Wondering if anyone has information regarding $$$ at Rikers. My husband was originally at Rikers in September, had money in his account, then shipped upstate--money never followed. He's down at Riker's again now for a court appearance, and was wondering if there's anyway to get that money transferred to his new book and case number. Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend was at Rikers and his money followed him to reception. He left Rikers about the second week of October and he just got the money last week, I think. So it takes a minute, but September? That's way too long. I'd have him speak to his counselor at the prison about it. Some or all of the money may have been applied to any surcharges or court fees that the judge may have fined him.
