Well, ladies...a new month and another birthday checked off! Yep, turned 55 on Halloween! My sweet little inmate dummie got ticked in July and took me off the visiting list and now I can't even put in the new form until February. The nightclub looks like it is going to go, financing is in place and opening date is the first weekend in March so I'm not going to have much opportunity to visit before we open....sigh....when will these guys get a clue! Everyone take care, I'm ignoring all the speed limit signs out there that are now constantly reminding me of my age LOL.

Special Happy 55 Rodg!! I am one year older than you are, they do not make a 56 sign, so I cannot be bothered again until I hit 65, lolo, hugs and best!! So you are putting in a bar?? what kind?? share!!

charlies counsoler said that they will transfer him to either Mule Creek or Coalinga...im really hoping and praying for Creek! but he will be transfered 30 to 90 days after he sees his counsoler and that was on the 2nd that he seen her, so he will be in DVI for a while, hope they send him to mainline there...soon! just wanted to keep you all posted!

Thanks for the B-Day wishes!
Marcellosmama ~ I'm with ya...Men, gotta love'm LOL

So TUESDAY is the day we find out if the bar is a final definate go. There is an issue on the ballot here to approve slot machines at 14 race tracks in Ohio and two privately held locations in Cleveland, one is owned by the owners of our property and they may not lease if it goes through...up side is we haven't spoken to anyone that thinks the measure would pass, we had issues because of the lies the state told to get the lottery approved and these hillbillies aren't going to be hoodwinked twice! SO, don't know if I'm allowed to put the link in to our website but there are pictures of the bar and more information about it...NOT ADVERTISING ANYTHING! Hope you'll all come to Cleveland for drinks on me! www.dockcleveland.com (http://www.dockcleveland.com) Ya'll take care! :D

I have a question, if anyone can help me...

i wanted to know if and when charlie gets out, if he can transfer his parole sentence to texas, like finish his last 8 months of parole there? ive called his PO but she hasnt called me back since he went in and its been almost a month ago...so im just wondering!

Rodg
11-06-2006, 07:38 AM
Marta,
I think transferring the parole is up to the parole officer on both ends. If the parole department where you want to transfer too has too heavy of a case load they may not take him on, if he has been an angel as far as parole for a while his recommendation from his current PO might be enough for them to figure it won't add too much to the case load. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks Rodg, well see when he was out, he was doing everything right, going the classes, working everyday, we even got a semi-new car, we were going good, till the drama hit and he ended up going back in. which sucks! but im hoping for the best! Have you hear from your honey?

11-06-2006, 09:02 PM
Teri- no we dont have kids yet, but i went to the doctors today and got a blood test done to see if i am or not. but we will see...hope for a baby, what other thing is weird is that on monday i had a dream that me and charlie were getting ready to go to a raiders game and 2 little twin boys cam running in the room yelling " mommy mommy" to me, and i went to the living room and my mom was holding a little twin girl and my sister was holding the other twin, and i was pregnant. and whats crazy is that i got a letter from charlie on tues. and he had a dream that we had 3 little boys and a little girl and i was pregnant. so i dont know, ive been having lots of baby dreams, i just dont know what they mean...but we are praying for a baby! lol

Get out on this beautiful day and VOTE!

Here is the Sect. of State's voting information site, which also includes poll locating information:

http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections.htm

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Don't forget it's a California law that every employer allow every employee time off work to vote if they do not have sufficient time to do so after or before work. The law allows up to 2 hours to be taken off work to allow time for that employee to vote.

P.S. Don't forgot all absentee ballots now need to be returned to any polling location today.

Okay, I have a question, my pen pal his birthday is coming up and I'm from The Netherlands, now I want to send him a money order so he can buy something for himself, can I send in that money order, or do I have to send in money on a personal account ? I also have a question about sending in a christmas package, can I send in everything or do they have rules what you can send in ? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm new at this, and I want to do something special for him on his birthday and Christmas, so if somebody can help me ?

TERIVEGAS

chanel- money orders must be postal money orders and packages can be ordered from californiaqp.com very easy to order from this web site it will show you everything you can order and the weight it will not let you go over on weight. hope that helps you:)

Chanel, the only problem may be.. that he already has gotten his package for this quarter, they are only allowed one package a quarter, you might want to ask him, if he has gotten one. Someone else more experienced will have ideas for you I am sure!! Welcome!!

I have sent an online application to PCO as well, we cannot do the remote thru our company as we are too rural..I am paying $15 per call for 12 to 15 minutes, this is rather expensive..I will let you know what kind of response I get to the application..they asked for the MC number I have no idea, what it is, it just shows CDC on my bill, anyone have a number??
Thanks
Pat

TERIVEGAS
11-10-2006, 09:48 AM
Pat- Your Phone Bill Is Cheaper Then Mine I Pay About $18.00 For 15 Minutes But I Also Did A App. Because If I Can Get It Cheaper Rate The More Calls I Can Get The Only Phone Number I Have Is The Main Line 209-274-4911.

marcellosmama
11-10-2006, 11:18 AM
Teri $18 a call wow and I thought $15 was bad!! Is that thru MCI?? Mine is currently MCI. I have not heard back from them yet, Lov suggested that I try Verizon remote answering and see what that costs for area code 209. Maybe you can check that out as well? So far I am not getting anywhere there.

Teri- I have PCO for my calls and they cost $8 per call. It's a $5 connection fee and then 16 cents per minute. It's $100 to set up and then a $26 monthly maintenance fee. PCO gives you a virtual # with a 209 area code.

I imagine since we are both in Vegas that this info would be the same for you.

eiilopez
11-10-2006, 01:10 PM
What PCO does is set up a remote call forwarding account for you and that is what they are charging you for. Anyone can set up a remote call forwarding account. Just call the local telephone company that services Ione and you can have the number forwared to you home or cell. So you would end up paying what ever it costs for a remote call forwarding account per month and then your calls Which for me are $5.30 for 15 mins

TERIVEGAS
11-10-2006, 05:53 PM
E- THANKS FOR THAT INFO BECAUSE RIGHT NOW MY HUSBAND ONLY CALLS ONCE A MONTH AND THAT PCO WOULD COST MORE THAN THE $18.00 A CALL THAT I PAY NOW, SO I WILL LOOK IN TO THAT FOR SURE:thumbsup: .

marcellosmama
11-10-2006, 09:47 PM
PCO said 7.40 a call plus $26 a month, I called VErizion and SBC and they said they could not help me, but my friend gave me a local number there, so I will do that on Monday.

Nice to hear from you Ei!! Hope all is well with you and yours!!

thanks all

Which yard is level 3 at Mule creek (SNY)? Do they have alot of lockdowns? Are they overcrowded? Any info would be helpful....Thanks

TERIVEGAS
11-13-2006, 09:47 AM
not real sure which yard is level 3, but as for overcrowded yes all prisons in california are overcrowded as for lockdowns not sure about yard a & c but yard b doesn't lockdown very often. hope that helps

eiilopez
11-13-2006, 10:26 AM
I want to say that B and C are both level 3's yard. A Yard is Level 4 with some level 3's in the yard. My husband lives in a gym with 160 other men that sleep on triple bunk beds and if that is not overcrowded then I dont know what is. As far as lock downs in the past year there has only been one that has affected visiting and that was the statewide lockdown because of the Folsom hostage thing. If you gotta go to prison then Mule Creek is a good one to be at if you can even say that! LOL!

J19rose
11-13-2006, 12:45 PM
Level III's are primarily on B and C yard. A yard has some, but A yard is designated for level IV's. B and C yard has level II's and III's.

A yard primarily has the most lock downs, however, most do not effect visiting. Ocassionally, an individual building will be lock down on a yard and visiting will be effected for only those inmates' visitors.

My fiance and I have been at MC for over 2 years, and we'll only had 2-3 lock downs that have effected visiting.

marcellosmama
11-14-2006, 12:38 AM
Monkey, hi and welcome, I know that B yard is 2 and 3s, so I have been told, sorry I know nothing of the other yards, But I am sure that Joanna has it right!! She is the information officer around here lololo, when we need to know something we ask Joanna about technical stuff..Most of the gals who have been around here A long time know a ton of things, ask them they will tell you anything you need to know.

Pat,
The racing here is lame. There are rowing shells on the river for the rowing club, that's it for water racing. Then over Labor Day...I think, they have the Cleveland Grand Prix, that might be July 4th I can't remember since I'm not a big racing fan but it is a really big deal.
