What can I bring with me? When he was in Downstate, I was able to bring him books, and food as packages. I could also bring money into the visiting area for the vending machines. What is different at Clinton?

Clinton has lockers and also you can bring in money for vending machines.

The Clinton facility is smack in the middle of a small town. Like you are walking down the sidewalk, pass the drugstore, bookstore, convenient, then..KABOOM. There on the side walk is this 3 story high cement wall that goes for a couple blocks. It's just an odd sight.

The CO's were very friendly, helping me out since it's the first time I was there. The next visit will be easier.

The drive up Rt 87 is really pretty since it goes right through the Adirondacks.

Of course, the vending machine food is still disgusting! :p
