NO, they'll probably lose it and you need to know the yard he is on because every yard has a different po boix. Like i said wait till monday and call inmate records. They will trll you where he is housed.

Im telling you call inmate records. they can to give that information out. You must have got someone who did not want to do there job. Tell them you need his housing so you can mail in money. They have to give it to you becasue the state will not. When you call the state they will tel you to call the prison. Your welcome.....

Hi LuvTOOL, don't bother sending money orders - they take too long to process. I use Jpay (jpay.com) and it only takes 3 days for him to be able to access the funds. However, they do not inform the inmate that he has any funds available. You will have to follow-up with a letter and let him know. Good luck to you and write back if you need more info.

anytime you send money to anyone doing state time, it's usually required that it be a postal money order unless you apply it to his books in person using cash at the county jail....if your guy owes restittution, put as much on his books while he is in the county so they don't take out the 44%, only money sent to a state penn direct is subject to the 44% deduction,,,,or to benefit your guy, try and get the restitution paid off before he hits the main line.....otherwise save the hassle and have him send you a package list and is all you do is write your personal check mail it and they get their items straight from the prison....
