Hey everyone, i need some suggestions on what to do for his birthday. His birthday is on September 15th and he will be the big 30!! HAHAHA He thinks he is old, he kinda feels bad in a way, I told him no way! He is young! Anyways, it's his 30th birthday, and it's also the last birthday he has to spend in there! Yeah! I wanna make it special just because he's almost out, because i love him, because it's his 30th, and many more reasons of course, but i need some BIG plans! I want him to know how much i love him!!!! Please be creative! I have a few ideas myself, but I wanna see yours! Thanks!!!

Do you have pictures of the 2 of you together? Recent or older? Before I reply further, let me know!

ooo i have a good idea!

2 christmas's ago, i did a "picture/calander" type of thing. i actually did it for my family, and had 1 sent to billy.
im not sure if yall have "STAPLES" but if you go to any store like that...they should be able 2 do a picture/calander type of thing. when i had them made, i had to make a special request--i had to have the pages FREE,i told them "NO BINDING". i had sent it to him & he got it perfectly fine.

i actually sent that 2 him 2 x-mas's ago. i know he liked it. he told me about 9 zillion times. :) (plus it had baby pics of me, and my mom & uncle..and pics of my cats, and their dogs...). anyways, thats 1 idea.

ummmm. another 1. OH i did this for billy a few yrs ago, i went out & bought like 10 cards, (all diff. types--i did it out of the blue). i sent them all out on the same day & he got them all on the same day. his cellie (at the time) had said "damn guess she really loves you". damn straight i do! lol the card idea--is kinda plain.

but im outta ideas for now. good luck! i know he will love anything you do for him. :)

oh yeah is he on the PTO BDAY LIST?

I was thinking that if you had pictures, you could make a little collage out of them, and get those little stickers that say like Happy Birthday and things like that and put them around the pictures. Makes them look at the times you spent together and how much fun y'all had.

I like the idea about the cards. I've done that to Louie-sent him numerous cards out of the blue just to say I love you.

Hmmmm what else....I'm out of ideas right now...if I think of any more, I'll let you know.

well there really isnt much you can do or send to a prisoner. An idea with pictures is this: I take our nice visiting room pictures and blow them up at walmart (or whoever has the Kodak picture maker) and add a cute lil border and add text to it. They have sooo many to chose from, u can perhaps add something in aspects to him being 30. For tio being that his birthday was in the summer too, i bought him some nice sunglasses and fitted cap. he loved it

The suggestions that you got were good, but unfortunately stickers are not allowed at most jail/prisons. You could incorporate some of the ideas and what I was going to add was to make a list of thirty things that you love about him...Good luck.

You could send him all different kinds of birthday cards ~ serious, lovey-dovey, funny, goofy, a kid's one, one you make, mail one each day right up to his birthday so he gets lots of cards from you...:)

you could still do the collage thing with the stickers, just when its finished go have them make a copy of it on the Kodak thing. It will be exactly the same, just without making the mailroom go nuts over stickers.....

oOOOH misshim- that is so cute. Great idea about copying the collage onto a picture. Thats very smooth! I dont have any love letters other than a year ago when we first met. But I guess that could work too. I really wanted to send a crad to all of his family that he hasn't seen in years, and have everybody write a lil something in it, then have them all send them back to me, and i send them all out together. that would just make his day too!

How about sex coupons if you have not did that already. Maybe you can print up some trip that you and he can take together. Kind of like a pre-gift. Or maybe you could make him up a sex recipe 1 part well you get in. For my honey birthday I made cards for each day of the week. I had one for Monday and so and so on. I put down what I was going to do to him each day of the week. He loved them. Good Luck

For my husband's birthday, I took baby pictures of him and scanned them and made a one page "poster" with his picture. I put a border around it, wrote a message on one and on the other wrote a poem. He loved those.

His birthday is Jan. 21st and starting on January 2nd, I sent a birthday card every day until about the 17th.

I signed him up for the PTO birthday club and he got a dozen or so cards from fellow PTO members.

I also sent extra money that month, so he could buy himself something special. Fortunately, he was in work release by then, so I got to take him some extra special things, including a "real" cake. :)

Last year, I did the same thing Danielle did.... I sent Dale a birthday card every day for like 2 weeks leading up to his birthday. Plus, he also got tons of cards from the PTO family.

Now... hmmm, what else did I do? I got him a couple new magazine subscriptions, sent him a couple books, and also used a few ideas I found on here.
I sent him heart attack.... I cut out a bunch of hearts from construction paper, and on the back of each one, I wrote something I loved about him... and on the outside of the envelope I wrote something like, "Warning! You are about to have a heart attack". (He thought it was sooo cute) LOL

I also took several 'special' pictures for him... holding signs saying Happy Birthday, that covered private parts.

I know I done more too... if I think of it, I'll come back and add it.

BTW, I love the idea about sending a card to all his people to sign..... I'll have to remember that one for Dale's birthday this year!

I like that heart attack idea. That's one of the cutest things I've ever heard! LOL. I made a thread about things to do for me and Louie's 2nd year anniversary. Maybe I'll use that. I'm going to bump my thread up too. I only have a couple of days to think of things and send them out.
