Does anyone know whether they use ion scanners on visitors at Donovan? What are the best ways to prevent those dreaded false positives? I miss him way too much to be turned away...

I don't know if the use them at Donavan. Don't use any lotions on your hands. Don't handle any money until after your inside. Make sure to wash your hands befroee you arrive and try not to touch anything.

they check for drugs and anything can set them off if so your visit is denied.

I don't think Donovan wants devices on the premises that can detect drugs. Next thing you know some one might suggest they also be used at employee entrances.

How about that, they should be used at the employee entrances don't ya know they are the ones bringing the majority of the shit in. Cell phones, drugs, tobacco. Hmmmmmmmmmm, but as soon as one of them gets caught the cop doesn;t know anything about it. I never asked what ION scanners were because i already knew.
