Hey girls I started this since we are unable to post at the original FCI Morgantown Club Thread. I hope everyone finds it. I hope everyone is doing okay. :) The weather here in WV is getting pretty frigid. It's 33 degrees. Brrrrrrrr. I have the wood burner blazin' girls. I'm to cheap to pay a gas bill so I use wood. Last year's gas bills were $400:angry: and we couldn't have that bull%^&*.

I don't belong in 'Morgantown'....but your blazing wood burner put a smile on! We had to fire up the pellet stove this week! Unfortunately as these things have grown so popular by others who like us, trying to keep the heating cost down...the pellets have nearly doubled! But...I sure stayed warm this week!

Me too, Sometimes I get it a little to hot and then I'm walking around the house in nothing but a tank top and have some of my windows cracked. People laugh, but I'm not the one struggling to pay a high gas bill so who is laughing in the end lolol. My dad gets me wood for only $15 a truck load already split so it costs me about $100 for the whole winter.

Wow...thats a good price! We had a woodstove prior to installing the pellet stove a few years back. We use to get some kicking heat off the woodstove...the pellet stove gives plenty but it's like more controled to last. And fortunately...it still cuts back on the electric heating cost so it's still well worth it!

I wish that I could control the heat on the wood burner more too, Sometimes my house is 90 degree or better and here I am it's 30 outside and I have my windows open trying to cool down my house. My neighbors think I'm nuts.

My husband said there are different buildings on the campus and that they all have different names I wonder if any of our guys are in the same campus.
My husband goes by the name "Charlie" I hate that name at home we call him "Chuck" so now when I write him I write Dear Chuck, Babe and Charlie from Morgantown.
