Governor bless her HEART says 4 more weeks there is no way I am going to pay that much! I need to stay home but I promised my son I would visit him on the 24th . Was going to carpool with Merlin another pto mother here, but she has a van might take 300$ dollors to fill her van up on just reg. and we dont have a law for price gouging in arizona! it never ceases to amaze me! I think Gods coming for us!

I'm sure your son would forgive you for not coming if you could get a letter to him explaining why you can't come. If it's too late to send him a letter and he won' t be calling before then, I can see why you'd be wanting to go anyway.

Can you call his CO to get a message to him? That is what I do when my plans change. His CO has been really good about that...

I understand all too well about the price of visitation. I live about an hour south of Las Vegas, so it takes us 5 to 6 hours to get there, and then we have to stay overnight. It will cost us atleast $100 each visit.

Thank goodness for telephones.

thanks Lefay I'LL call the CO! unfortunately my husband has put a block on our phone so I cant except collect calls from my son but I write him letters everyday just so he will feel connected to everyday life at home, Tell him how his dog misses him when he hears me say his name, how old his cat is and needs to be put to sleep, he has had this cat sence the 5th grade but my son begs me to please wait he wants to say goodbye to her but I am not sure if she can wait 5 yrs. It just breaks my heart!
