I just read a post that said the US kills more of its citizens than China. Well ... between April and July 2001, China decided to have a mass culling and executed AT LEAST 1,781 of its people for crimes ranging from stealing petrol, embezelling, selling dodgy food etc to violent crimes. I'm not sure what the figures are like for the rest of 2001 and the beginning of 2002 but I hope they are lower than that specific period.

I wonder how many were unofficially killed?

I shudder to think. I think China's whole legal system takes days rather than weeks to charge, sentence and execute someone.

I would be inclined to think that ALL criminal justice systems all over the world need some revamping, some MAJOR change
