Morning all, phewww at first I thought no more CFW's when I read that the club house was shut down. Glad to see we can have our lounge here now, lol.

Okay remember what I've been saying about having tons of patience to you all?? Well I need to remember it as well, on the weekend we were suppose to have a total of 3 shopping passes, well guess what they couldn't find ANY of them, wth!!! So no shopping on Sat, can we say we were both unhappy campers and that's putting it mildly, lmao. So that screwed up our plans but then our son came to the rescue and went and got the parts hubby needed to do the work on the sprinklers!

Then by some miracle one of the passes shows up for Sunday, so all wasn't lost. We went to one of those warehouse club places where everything is supersized, now hubby has been there before but since its been so long he was like a kid in the candy store, especially when he saw the TV's that are out now, lmao. Had to look at them twice!!! Think he enjoyed it, I took two different routes coming and going back so he could see some of the growth of the area, he was like WHOA!! Can't wait to really get him out and about to see how the whole area has grown.

Then we had a nice Sunday dinner, yep ya guessed it, still enjoying watching him eat the foods he has always loved!!! But he is getting better at not overeating, lmao. Doesn't want to put too much weight back on that he had lost.

Not sure but think it was Lana who had asked how it was where family and friends were concerned since he is back. We've been truly blessed there, they supported him totally when he went in and now that he is home they are respecting letting us re-connect as a family. So it's been pretty much just us most of the time. A few family members and friends have been by, but thats it.

I often thank the Lord that thru this journey, I haven't had to deal with alot of the poo that so many have had too. There's always been nothing but support for us since the beginning. To me it speaks volumes of the kind of man my hubby is and those that love him, know he is a good person and they didn't judge him for taking a BOP vacation, roflmao!!!! I've been blessed indeed and for that I am most thankful.

Lil glad to see you had a visit on thursday, hope all is cleared up now between you two and life is straight between ya's once again.

that counter is for a release on Nov 2009, which is 6 months off his 2-2010 release date, so that is why it's exactly 3 years now, I want to change it and add to Feb 2010 ( as worse case) but it will not allow me to change it due to the size of my siggy..ARGGGGGG!!
and I know..I have decided not to but the puppy at this time, I complained about $57 for the addition of the plane ticket and I was going to spend $1500 on a puppy..I was having withdrawals this weekend...LOL but I am ok today..

Good mornin. I just ended my work week, so now I am trying to catch up on paperwork at home. My husband was able to suprise me with a Sunday night call and I was actually home! Miss his face. He said his brother's girl (and baby mama) came to visit him yesterday and told him she was too lonely to ride it out with him. He got 19yrs, 7mos federal. My husband said, "it hurt my feelings for him". He said his brother just got up and ended the visit cuz he didn't even hear anything after the initial, "I can't hold it down while you are gone". Poor thing.

I tried posting earlier and it didn't post. No telling with me this morning I am still asleep. This is just a drive by.

CSM-- I am so sorry for you loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish I knew of something great and profound to say but I don't. All I can say is if you need anything please let me know.

NYK-I completely agree. My husband is the oldest of his siblings. All have different dads that were never around, mom wasn't either. His hustlin fed the kids and afforded them a life they never would have had. So he is like a parent, I think. He stresses over that stuff. I feel like it is better this way instead of him thinking all's good and she is holding it down out here with someone else, ya know?

H's b-day party was Sat. and it was great. T sent her a hankerchief with minnie and mickey and her name on it. And u guessed it TBD sent her ish. T also called to tell her to have a great day and he misses her. Yesterday I just hung around the house didn't do much, didn't even write T a letter. I just didn't feel like doing anything, I did take a nap. Yeah, they are in the same facility for now. Them and three other brothers, crazy. My husband is just being supportive and feels the same way we all do about her stepping up. I have a wonderful annoucement to make. After six years and four months Kermie finally popped the question. He asked me friday night. Of course I said yes then I started to cry tears of happiness. Zo's-
Same huge indictment. Now they have sentenced half of the people on the indictment and the other half will be in January.
Forever they made sure he and his bros were separated, but when they came back on this federal writ, they put them in the SHU (4 of them) right next to and across from each other. So he has had part of his family pretty close by lately. Which is nice for them.
I don't think they want ANY of them in the same facility, but I dunno how they are going to do that. They are all bound to be going to the same level of facility. I don't know. I guess we will know in January for sure. They are sending him last tho.

Hey Lils, I just read your post, no I didnt go visitthis weekend. My sis in law told her hubby to wait to go see his brother(L), until next weekend b/c she was flying out that night to go out of town for work and she didnt want their 16yr old and her 8yr home alone for 1 or 2 hours(give me a break). Anyway he says he's going next weekend and if he doesnt go I am still gonna go b/c I was so mad this weekend after getting all geeked and then not going.

Well. LiL just called me and he told me that he does not want the EX to visit him, and he was thinking about it and he can understand why I would be upset over things. SO, she is coming off the Visist list.. WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We haven't talked too much into detail yet we will get there though. I say it will be sometime either late 2007 or early 2008. I know personally I want him out of the hwh and off of home confinement. I don't want a big wedding but I do want a nice reception. I'd like to get married in the winter time cause I love xmas lights. There is a place here that is on the water and has a gazebo the is trimmed in lights. I have always thought that would be pretty. The actual wedding will be very very small. The reception will be a different story. We are gonna party like its 1999.

nyk-thanks for asking, but no she is not. She is strung out and drinking alot (which she has been his whole life), and she is mad at alot of his siblings. He will call her and check in every now and then but it is very upsetting to him to speak to her. He makes sure she is taken care of financially though. He has been taking care of her his whole life from like 10yrs on.

Sorry you hurt yourself Lils. I broke my pinky toe on a barbell before. I never went and got it set. Now it hurts upon occasion. I thought I was gonna die when I did it but my friend was a navy nurse said there was nothing the doc would do but give me painkillers so I didnt even bother going to see a doc.

i missed 2 calls from BJizzle today - he tried me at lunch and i was doing homework at my desk and had the phone on vibrate in my purse :(

so here is my dilemma for the week! I am scheduled to go to Amnesty Int'l regional confrence in Chi-town this weekend. I took off early from work at 3pm and we are leaving around 5ish. Well we are missing all of Friday's activities and then we have confrences and speakers all day Sat right, so i am going up with this other girl from school and we are staying with a friend of hers that goes to some school up there. Well i called the girl like 5 times over the end of last week and this weekend to find out how we are paying for stuff, yada yada yada. Well she finally calls me Sunday and says we are allocated $400 for this trip and we have already spent $20 each for the registration and we have to keep receipts and turn them and be reimbursed for our food and expenses while we are up there. I am like WTF? so she said she has the gas and i am like ok. then she proceeds to tell me that her friend is having this Halloween party on Sat nite and she hopes i don't mind. Now mind you, we are not staying in a hotel, and i will not have my own car. So I was like Whatever...then she says well we don't have any seminars early Sunday so it's all good. Well today I go on and look and it seems that we do they are from 8am-12noon on Sunday. So basically i think she is trying to be on kick it for the weekend and i am not down. I feel like as co-president i should have been notified of the budget for the trip so i could make my own decisions about transportation and lodging, and i do not feel like partying with a bunch of college kids on Sat night. i would be missing my kid's game on Sat and i need to get him a costume. So would it be wrong for me to tell her that something came up and i can't go and see if she can find a replacement? and then when she gets back maybe have a sit down with her on the organization?! She was president last year and by laws say you can't be president more then one year, and basically i think she just can't let go. i agreed to the co-president thing b/c of my schedule as is but she is not being very honest with how the organization is being ran - plus if i am going to spend $$ to eat out all weekend and kick it in Chi - which i can't afford to do i would rather spend that on some gas and GO SEE MY HUSBAND!!!!!

Iv'e known him every since the 7th grade and I really love him but he is serving a LIFE sentence. I don't want to end our relationship but I don't want to feel like I am alone. How did she get his address????

In the newspaper article it said where he was and apparently, from what the letter said, she had been in jail there before. She told him she got his # from the website. He was like this is one crazy b$#%&. I looked up the address she put on the letter and it is a court-mandated rehab center in Tulsa.
I was floored. She said, "I know you are lonely and I can help you out with that." LOL.

I would write her and tell her... he's alright getting help with his loneliness... from me.

I know, I know. I hadn't ever heard of that before. Maybe she saw his pic and was like, "damn he's fine!! I think I will write him". It's nuts.

Shay-- It's about time you went to see that man of yours. A man that sweet needs some lovin.

Irsh-- Where is your man? Just curious. I have heard of it before but I sure wouldn't let her write him. I mean I know you have no control over it but if I was him I wouldnt even respond.

Right now he is on a writ in the county, but he is fed. He had to come back here for resolution of the case. He kept the letter until he read it to me and then shredded and flushed it. He is in the SHU. I am not worried about his part of it, he has no intention of communicating with her. But I just think it is bizarre. We were crackin up because I was like half asleep and I said, "she is really going to make me get up and go to a rehab to go scratch her eyes out." I still am pretty amused. I am not mad, like I said the article didn't say anything about him being married. He was going to ask his bros if they are getting any "fan mail". LOL.
