Wooooo, I think I'm the first to post here. Cool....hi everybody.

FYI to friends from USP Terre Haute.....J DID call back this morning. He does NOT have his new designation yet :( but that's ok. Soon enough we'll know.

He did call to tell me he had a meeting w/ the Chaplain..... a rather lengthy one....and the topics were diverse. He called to THANK ME for being in his life....to help "shape" him and guide him.... sticking with him and kicking his butt back on to the "breadcrumb trail" that we speak of with each other. Most of all he wanted to say, 'thank you and I love you so very much.' :thumbsup: :D :thumbsup: :D That MAN.... geesh, no wonder I love him to pieces. The love and sincerity radiated through those phone lines.... and I love him, will support him and respect him more with each passing day.

It's good the chaplin offers extended time...when one needs it! That is sometimes rare...getting a lengthy time (outside of sentencing, lol).

HI KIN!!! Yeah!!! I DID find the correct place to post. There were several choices outlined but since this was NOT "real" federal material... I thought it was the most appropriate place.

I think his team meeting was during the week of October 22nd. I say this because my caller ID shows one of his calls then...and he had said that his team meeting was the previous week. HOWEVER he also said his ?counselor? was out of the office/building the day that he called, was expected back in the following day (Tuesday) and J THOUGHT he'd know his designation that week. ~~~ I guess that was wrong. lol ~~ Still sending prayers for those two places though.. that would be a GOD-SEND.

The Chaplain there is new and young. Almost out of Seminary. I understand he's very well liked by both the people that are serious and those who are less serious...but want a 'healthy' diversion. Gonna send you a PM.... hope you find it interesting.

Now......let's find the troups......and get some posters, make some new friends and make this place rock-n-roll. (ok, after a nap, lol).

Been busy with my company. I asked him about the transfer and he started babbling about something else. I'm doing the 3 day thing next week, so I'll ask him then.
Are we allowed to visit on Thanksgiving? I asked him and he just said that if he gets a visit, he'll miss out on chow that day!!

Thanksgiving is a federal holiday...so the answer should be yes.
