Hello everyone !
I have again a question about mail :) I wanted to know how much additional material ( photos, postcards, etc..) I can send with a letter? Can I also send blank greetings cards, paper and envelopes to the inmate or do I need to be on the funds list for that ?
And last but not least ;) can I use colorful writting paper and envelopes ( I heard that some prisons doesn´t allow that and only white envelopes and paper is allowed-but I´m not sure).

I have used in the past colorful paper. Yes you can send pictures as long as they are not polaroids..I know at one time they would let you send paper and envelopes to the inmate..

My fella is on death row at holman and I can only send him paper/ envelopes in with his care packages at certain times of the year. I use coloured paper and I put stickers on his letters or envelopes and they all get through fine. You can send 6 photos at a time (no polaroids) and I think its 2 pages of like computer printouts or magazine pages. I do also send cards but they are normally ones I have written in for him but I would imagine you could send a blank one for him to use.

I trried to send Mark some paper and envelopes last week because he didn't get store for 2 weeks because he got written up for bull sh**, when they called him down to the mail room to inform him(by the way he said they were real nice)they also told him that before long they were going to stop the computer print outs, too. Guess it's just too much work for 'em.:rolleyes: :cry:
