I am going to see my man on Saturday. He just got to Fishkill S.H.U. this week. I want to bring my daughter but I am wondering will he be locked up with the chains on. I have seen others like that. They have his hands cuffed and his feet. Will he be like that on this first visit? If so I don't want my baby to see that. If anyone knows please tell me wha you know.

yes he will have on chains, at least that's what i can recall when my husband was there. you can call to find out. if i am not mistaken their number is 845-831-6500

Did he just get there? Has it been less than 2 weeks? Then YES, he'll be a "Level 1" and will be wearing the handcuffs and waist chain, and will be behind the mesh grill/wall for the entire visit.

he didn't have them on and i saw him soon after he got there. we also sat right next to each other, but i think it does depend on their level. to be sure call the facility.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I called the prison and one said no he won't have them and the other one said he will have them so I will see. The one that said yes said he will have them for 30 days. I'll let you know when I get back. Thank you.

He did have the chains on but will not have them on when I go back in two weeks. He has to be in for 14 days before he won't have them. Thank you for all the responses. We had a great visit besides that!!!!!!!!!
