In Mississippi -
Two Parchman prison workers are in trouble after officials discovered the officers were supplementing their incomes by selling drugs to inmates. Each are accused of conspiring with the girlfriends of two inmates to bring marijuana into the prison. Charges have been filed against the two officers, the two girlfriends and the two inmates. Corrections Commissioner Robert Johnson says his department is making a serious effort to crack down on contraband in the facility and more arrests can be expected.

Do you think they will get the "mandatory" sentence?

Reminds me of the time that the minister at Billy's prison was caught smuggling drugs to an inmate. I'm not sure what happened to him...haven't heard anymore about it. Then again, it's not something the BOP would want to get out.

HOPE THEY GET THE MAX SENTENCE-ACTALLY THEY AUGHT TO DOUBLE THE MAX SINCE THEY WERE SUPPOSED PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD OF CORRECTIONS

I have a penpal at Parchman. Wonder if that's why he hints for cash?! Never comes out directly and asks.

Could be Mary - drugs are rampant in prison and the guards are involved more often than you think.

If you only knew just how many times this happens and is not caught.....

Every prison has a few like this.... There are drugs prevalent in the prison system..... With visitation as it is, not too many are getting it from the outside in except Guards and DOC employees.

I'm sure they will push the case that they were in fear for their lives and the inmates made them do it.. Won't be the first time, nor the last..
