I am not sure but i can agree with you the waiting is so hard.. just hang in there he sould be calling soon..

You can call the prison, but try to be patient...he will call soon. I know it's getting to you. I hope you get a call soon!!!

I can't think of any other way of finding out except to call the prison......I really do hope you hear from him soon

all you could try is write the 'prisoners administration' at the prison. but that might take so long, he probably called before you get a reply

When I need to know something I will either e-mail someone in the DOC or call the chaplain. Both have been very helpful to me! To find out e-mail addresses see if the prison has a website.

Waiting is so hard, I hope he calls very soon

:) My husband is in Illionis, I do not know how your phone systems works, but with us first, I always call the prison and see if they are on lock down, if not then I call the phone co. that is handling the account, most prisons can tell you the co. Third, I know that it usually takes 30 days and they send you a letter stating that an inmate has put your name down to recieve phone calls and do you agree. Thats how it is done here in this state.

Hey doll. I know it took a whole lot for Shane to be able to call. What a pain in the butt. Any way there are sevral things you can do.

You can call the prison to find out who they use for the phone thing. Than they can send you to them, or give you there number.

They are going to ask you a lot of questions. And be ready to sit on hold for a long time. Don't give up. Your gonna sit on hold for at lest 20mins. More than likly more. But they are a main company that can take any blocks off "so you dont have to wait for them to add your name to the list at the prison end." And they are really nice people. Best of luck.

The onely thing now is waitting to see what happens when he goes to or front of the board he has just about finished his last program this week end he will be finished.
