Question.....
Does your spouse get equally jealous if you are in contact with a man of another race than what you date?
Do you get jealous if your man is in contact with a female of another race other than your race?
I just think that it is odd that people get so comfortable in what there spouses like… how do you know that he or she is not equally interested in another race?
For instance… I have a personal trainer and he is white. My husband does not trip bout’ him because he is white and I have never dated white men so he feels like he has nothing to worry bout’ but…. When I had a fine a** bald black man as my trainer he was trippin.
Do any of you experience this?

This is funny. I did have a lot of white male friends and my b/f didn't think a thing about it since they were white b/c he knew I wasn't really into white boys. He did get jealous though if I was talking to black guys. I do still get jealous of him talking to black girls though b/c he has kids w/ one so I know he does like black girls too.

I think personally my man would get upset about ANY man, I have dated white men and i like black men,and I know I would get upset over a white woman or black woman. So I havent experienced this.

My husband is like that about men in general, he doesnt see one man as having a better chance because of their color. He has his jealous moments as we all do but its never just againtst one race ..

I am glad you could say that,,,because it is refreshing to see that White Girls DO get jealous over Black Women,,for a minute there,,They were making it seem like everyone else is Jealous of them!!!

my man gets jealous of ANY man.he dont care if they blac,white,green or purple.i have never dated a white man but he would still trip.if a green woman got in my man's face i would go off.its not the color that gives pleasure it's the PRIVATES.green,purple,orange it doesnt matter

Ray married me and his bottom line, Im his. lol He tells me that I can go out and have dinner or go dancein with a white man, only because he knows I have no interest in doing that. He is very firm in saying black men are off limits in every thing. Ray is both jealouse and posessive, both in a good way, and if he thiought I would develope feelings for any man, he would flip.
Me, lol a woman is a woman, color dont matter. Hes mine, and that extends to even haveing a pen pal that is female.

I think my husband is equally jealous of all races, but he doesn't really speak on one race in particular. I imagine that if he happened upon me speaking to a black man at an event, he'd surely come over and get in on the convo, but not so much if it were a white man.

I don't like any woman talking to my man, especially if they know he's my man. Its funny though cuz usually the only ones bold enough to do that are black, and I am not as bothered by that. If it were a blond girl, prettier or skinnier then me, I'd be HEATED. It would go down for sure.

He has a problem with other blk men. Never once has he said anything to me about any other race.

if he calls when im out somewhere he'll ask "are there any men there?"
if i say yes he'll ask what race.. if i say mexican/white.. he'll be like ok..
but if i say black.. o gosh he goes psycho on me..
and the thing is.. he knows ive dated those races b4! so im kinda confused! lol

My man has done that once or twice. :shrug: Didn't think about it until now. Kinda weird. I'd think he'd be mad at anybody, no matter the race. Guess not.

And honestly, no woman should be jealous of anyother woman. And saying that blacks are jealous of whites are vice versa it's stupid to me. I'm not jealous of black women or white women, I have high self esteem and nobody out there has anything I want. (not saying you have low self esteem) I just never understood that.. :confused::confused: And the fact that you would be glad to hear a different race is jealous is just as stupid. I'm lost on the whole thing.

I dunno we must be color blind...We trip for anybody we don't discriminate...lol....

Hubby gets mad about black men because he knows that's what I like. He wouldn't mind me hanging out with white boys cause he know's I'm not attracted to that kind of man... just like if I were hanging out with an old man, or a fat man or ugly man... he's safe and got nothing to worry about. If I hang out with anyone within the range of what I'm attracted to he goes nuts. He also knows, for added comfort with white/ugly/fat men, that I tend to be very superficial and base a good percentage of what I think of men on whether or not I would sleep with them.

I worry about him with short white girls... he's told me flat out he has dated some of every race (except asian) and he never will again, and he hasn't deviated from that at all.

Josh does get upset if I am around other white boys especially around our age range he still does get upset if im around black or spanish guys too but he turns in to Homeland Security askings questions u would never even think about if he hears a white boy's voice! LOL

He's hispanic & he would be just as jealous of a hispanic guy just as much as a black or white guy as i've never gone for a particular race that i date. I've been with white guys , black guys an asian guy I'm quite color blind.
