Ok as far as I know there isnt anyone else here with a loved one there but I thought I would tell you all what it was like so incase there ever is anyone elses loved one sent there. First of they have the same basic dress code and what you can bring in that all DOC does. $20.00 in quaters are allowed. and you can wear shorts as long as they are no higher than an inch above your knees. there is a park like area for the kids and a covered area with picnic tables and a nice inside area as well. They have alot of things for sell by inmates at visit and they offer pictures (I was glad of that THMU didnt).
While outside I never saw a guard check on us but they may have we were really busy keeping my 2 year old from killing himself on the playground. And they were not all hovering over you inside either. I have to say this was the first place that didnt even pat us down or run us through a metal detector. It is a dorm type place and the guys work off center and get taken to the dollar store, the smoke shop and gracery store once a week. And they get to have street clothes but it has to be certain types and such. They also get to have up to $50.00 cash on them. The visits are Sat and Sun from 10:30 to 2:30 all in all it was one of the nicer facilities I have visited wuth giving you a relaxed atmosphere.
