I am multiracial i lived with my grandma alot of my life she si blk and rican I am white rican asain native american and blk. We live in an all blk neighbor hood. I used to get made fun of everyday cause i was light skin and had good hair. Always been told i would never fit in the i also was told i would never fit in with the white people. I was a no body. I used to come running home crying when i was a lil girl telling my granny why couldnt i have darker skin why did god have to make me so light skined. My grand ma told me hunnie u are an blk queen it runs through your vain whether u look dark on out side you dark on the inside and they are just jealous that yo u are so pretty and they wish they looked like you. i felt inprionsed by my skin color being so light. Being of mixed race i felt i never really had a real heritage i could call my own.or would allow me to claim

Hey SweetMe - don't let your skin color get to you or others for that matter. My man tells me all the time that I'm a black girl caught in white skin. LOL. I'm full blood sicilian so my skin is darker then most white girls. Claim whatever race you want & claim your heritage that fits you the most. So stop dwelling on the past & start living your life. And BE PROUD that you are you cuz life is 2 short not too! Have a blessed day

Thanks very much i know what you mean i claim all that i am whether people want to precieve me as that or not I have it all running through my vains but when i was younger i felt imprisonied my skin because of where i lived.

I am mixed also I am black and white or so that is what I say cuz to many to say. But I lived in a white hood I was cool with white people I went to black school I dont know the black side of me my father is gone somewhere but I don't care I love black men never dated ne one else. but most the black girls when I was in school was haters cuz the boys loved me. I am light skinned with very nappy hair. As I am older I don't have problems with my race. Just stay strong and don't let no one make u feel like u aint someone!
