:o :( :confused: Hi, my boyfriend got locked up on a probation violation in NC. He violated in VA. He is under a 30,000 bond. My first question is do you think VA will come and get him. The charge was Obtaing Proberty False Pretenses value over 6,000. He did 1 year, he said that he does not know what terms of his probation that he has violated. Has any one dealt with this before and if so, what kind of time is he looking at getting. He said that his probationary period was 6 months.

I am so sorry you two are going through this. I am not an expert on this, by far, but usually he would have to face charges in the other state as well as his home state. Start with his probation officer and see what he says, then best to contact a lawyer. Wish I was more help to you. Sorry. Hopefully someone else can come along and give better advice.
