Hello,

I plead guilty under a different name that is on my birth certificate. When I tried to bring this out in court, I was told that they would not change the name to my legal name. So now that my probation is almost up (next september), How will this affect my CBC?

I am worried that it will come back as not having a criminal record. Yet, someone else has used my SS#.
I had this happen to me on one job which my record came back as being clean, They then noticed the difference in names and wanted to know if someone had used my SS#. When I told them what had happen, I never got the job.

The reason it's under a diffrent name is because I'm intersexed. I had my birth name changed and now live as a female. All this was done before I plead guilty to a crime.

Should I even mention my past? How do I explain this to employer that do background checks so that they don't think i'm trying to hide my felony conviction?
