 pto pals'

help. i have sent my son 3 letters already to fsl, but he self surrendered at fci, and has,nt been moved as of yet and maybe it will be a day or a week. so, i,m thinking he is wondering why , he isn,t getting mail. the fsl he is suppose to go to is 25 miles from the fci he is at. i called there today, and they said he was still there, and it could be soon or it could take awhile, and he has,t called yet. should i wait and see if i hear from him and whwn he is likely to move or start sending mail to fci, does mail follow a inmate if he starts out at 1 place and moves to a camp??? curlyhead, or can i call and see if he is moved, this seems alittle scary to me, i don,t want to annoy the staff or possibly make trouble for him. need advice...........curlyhead

it'll come back to you or get forwarded to him, all in good old long BOP time. i had a 4 month old letter come back to me from when Matt was being moved around over a year ago. i hate to say it, but no one cares. there's no expedience about mail between home and inmates. the BOP knows the inmates aren't going anywhere soon, so the mail gets bounced around, especially when they are moved.

sorry about a downer message
